BEAUTIFUL SMILE WITH IMPLANT TEETH

A beautiful smile is a valuable asset in everybody’s personal and professional life. Almost everyone truly care about the appearance of their teeth and agree that missing teeth, misaligned teeth, spaced teeth, and discolored teeth are unattractive and source of distraction in their life.
A beautiful smile is powerful and portray command and control. In fact people who have beautiful teeth are more confident and relaxed in their daily interactions with other people. Research has also pointed to the fact that people with attractive smile are more successful in their profession as well as in their relationships.

This case illustrate how a simple dental implant and cosmetic dentistry procedure can greatly enhance a smile. This patient was a 29 years old male with spaced and missing upper front teeth. Patient was obviously unhappy and wanted to correct this condition and improve his smile.
This patient was also financially limited and had to have the most conservative approach to achieve his objective. During the first evaluation and consultation with Dr Khazian it was decided to limit the treatment to just one implant and one veneer.
The following case is an actual patient of Dr. James Khazian. All surgical dental implant treatment as well as cosmetic dentistry was performed by Dr. James Khazian.
This pre-op picture shows missing upper front tooth on patient’s left side and spaced teeth on right side. The goal of the treatment was to achieve maximum esthetics with treatment on 2 teeth only.
Another pre-op picture shows the left center tooth is lightly shorter than the right one. It would have been justified to include that tooth in the treatment but this idea was abandoned due to financial considerations on the part of the patient. It was also decided that it was possible to achieve a descent result without treatment on that tooth.
This is the x-ray of dental implant placed for the missing tooth on the left side. This was done by a small surgery to insert the titanium dental implant into the jaw bone. Titanium is a biocompatible metal which bonds to the jaw bone after insertion. It provides a strong base for the porcelain tooth to replace the missing tooth.
This picture shows the fabricated Zirconia/porcelain implant tooth. New CAD CAM technology delivers extremely precise and highly esthetic results in fabricating such teeth. Using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) and Computer Assisted Milling (CAM) this tooth was custom fabricated for this patient.
This image shows the final porcelain implant tooth is attached to the titanium implant on the left side (patient’s left), and the veneer bonded to the spaced tooth on the right side. As mentioned earlier, the left center tooth (patient’s left) is slightly shorter and could be corrected but the patient, due to financial considerations had decided to delay that treatment to a later time.
This another image of the finished treatment. This patient’s smile was greatly enhanced by a very conservative treatment which consisted of one veneer and one dental implant.
Final x-ray shows the dental implant and porcelain tooth. As shown in this x-ray an implant tooth is supported by the titanium dental implant that is surgically inserted into the jaw bone. Due it its biocompatibility, dental implants create strong and natural bond to the jaw bone. If properly maintained dental implants last for decades or possibly a lifetime.
Dental implants are an integral part of modern dentistry. Dental implants replace the missing or terminal teeth to their most natural condition. Unlike dentures which are moveable and uncomfortable, implant teeth become a permanent part of the mouth and look, feel, and function like natural teeth.
