Question:
I lost all my teeth about 15 years ago, due to infections and gum disease, and have been using dentures since then. I am 65 years old now and quite healthy. I have difficulty chewing most food because my dentures move while chewing and cause pain. Am I a candidate for dental implants? What is involved with treatment?

Question:
My dentist has told me that one of my upper front teeth has to be extracted. She says the old root canal on this tooth has failed. I have heard about teeth in a day. Is this really true? How is it done?

Question:
Regarding Fosamax and Osteonecrosis: I have been taking Fosamax for my Osteoporosis for the past 5 years. I heard I may develop osteonecrosis of my jaw bone if I have dental implant surgery. Is this a rare possibility or is there a large number of women involved who have taken Fosamax and suffered osteonecrosis?

Question:
I had the regular dental implants upper and lower put in my mouth that took about 6 months.. They lasted 10 years and then I ended up wiith MRSA under my chin and lost my lower dental implants and got MRSA again in the same place, but lost all of my upper dental implants. Now my doctor is telling me that I have two holes in the lower jaw bone and will probably have to have part of my rib cut out and have it put in my lower jaw. He said that it is just a matter of time before the jaw bone breaks. What happened? I did everything they told me to do. I now wanted to have the mini implants put in for dentures, but he said no that he would not want to do them. What is going on. I also have blood that I get out of my nasal passage every day since I have lost the upper implants and cannot blow my nose right because it is now swelling up.

Question:
I recently had acrylic implants done (called all-on-four) and is trying to find a low abrasive gel paste / toothpaste but am unable to find any information on the internet. Are you able to recommended any – I was told to use Colgate Total but upon reading reviews, this toothpaste is medium abrasive and therefore could damage and remove the glaze and shine of the acrylic implants overtime?
